Process & Profile
We’re thrilled to share one of our favorite coffees of the year — and our very first Geisha. This honey-processed Geisha micro-lot comes from Finca La Bastilla, an idyllic farm high in the peaks of Nicaragua’s Jinotega region. Ripe red cherries from La Bastilla’s dedicated Geisha plot were carefully harvested, floated, and depulped, with some of the fruit’s sticky-sweet mucilage left intact during drying.
The result is a very approachable cup with a rich mouthfeel and layers of fruity sweetness and rich milk chocolate. A truly special coffee, and one we’re especially proud to bring to our Blue Room community.
