Wush Wush is an heirloom Ethiopian coffee varietal known for its bright, sweet, and juicy profile. While it originated in Keffa, its popularity has spread to other regions—like Guji, where this lot was grown and processed by renowned producer Israel Degafa. Using a proprietary 96-hour anaerobic “alcoholic” fermentation followed by natural sun-drying, Israel has crafted a Grade 1 microlot that’s silky, balanced, and bursting with flavor. Expect a fruit bomb of strawberry, watermelon, blackberry, lemonade, and sugar cane, with crisp acidity and a clean, wine-like finish that’s refined yet intensely juicy.

Every Sip Starts with a Story

Grown by smallholder farmers in Guji and meticulously processed at Israel Degafa’s Anasora washing station, this coffee captures the elegance of Ethiopia’s highlands. The Wush Wush varietal—originally from Keffa—thrives at 2,000–2,300 meters, where cool nights and rich soils develop its signature sweetness.
